Oh yes it is! OK, technically the photo itself is not red, and it's not in Wassenaar. But there is a reason why the subject matter has a very strong red connection. We were supposed to be creative, right?
Can you guess the red connection? Feel free to guess by leaving a comment.
Big hint number one: it has to do with its location. Big hint number two: the subject is universal, but I think this could only happen in the Netherlands.
I'll continue the red (or red-related) theme this week with some of the ideas that lost out to this one.

Very imaginative use of red today! I'll look forward to the answer!

I can only agree with the obvious answer already given -- where exactly it is though I wouldn't know.
Dress? Shoes? Red light District? Maybe all three.

I am fairly sure I have been their ... in my younger years ... Of course the location is the red light district and my youthful visit was purly for educational purposes.
With a pose and statue like that, I can only imagine its the red light district!
Ha! Very clever indeed ;-) I'm going along with the others and saying the "Red Light District" as well.
Or maybe outside of the Moulin Rouge ?
You are very clever and our fellow bloggers certainly are wise and worldly people. Who would have thought of such a clever idea?! I passed it up yesterday since I was busy surfing and commenting on all those red sites. Glad I stopped today, tho.
Very intriguing photo and quiz.
