Abandoned?

This looks like a perfectly rideable city bike, but notice how the grass has grown through the tires ... it's been sitting here for a while. I'm surprised nobody has snatched it up.
We're not abandoning the blog, but we won't have internet access for about a week, so see you then.
And apologies for not being able to return many comments this past week due to a hectic schedule.

Oh my. What a great title I would have for this post.

If Bicycle Seats Could Talk

What tales they would tell.

Beautiful pic and moving to.
Some years ago I had to get rid of my mother's old moto cycle called Solex. It was hard for me to let it alone in the street waiting for the garbage pickers but the bike was taken by someone fifteen minutes after. It makes me very happy.

We see some of these abandoned bikes around here, but of course, not with grass growing through the spokes...just the non-cannibalized parts left behind...

Hi R,

Yeh and that for Rotterdam a big city , also some green! Where did you see that? Bikeslike this you see every-where in Holland, probably this bike is left behind by a 'poor' student, it was too much to pay a new tie or even to repare the bike, a second hand bike might cost less!

Thank you so much for your celebration (for my birthday)! and your interest in me, and my trip to Paris. Its a fantastic!! city and I will publice soon some great views from my point of (digital) view , and you know me 'always playing with my camera' I'm Glad to be back, I missed YOU too:)

I saw an abandoned bike the other night, and one thrown in the lake too--I think they were stolen for joy rides and then left behind.

I have been so busy I have trouble keeping up withe commenting--can't even keep up with the email that alerts me of comments.
