Wading Maiden

Normally, this maiden is wading in the pond. To me, with the leaves covering the surface, it looks like she's stuck in quicksand or something.

She is a lovely maiden and does look to be stuck in muck almost to her knees. A nice shot.

This old man's post brought tears on this Veteran's Day but not because I am a Korean War era veteran.

I was thinking she'd look better in water, but then read she is normally in water. She looks out of place in the leaves.

By the way, I see you've linked to Images International Photo club, are you a member?

Came across your website accidentally, but have enjoyed looking at all the beautiful pictures. We too were Expats in Wassenaar about 2 years ago, miss it terribly. Loved looking at all the pictures and knowing exactly where you were. It brought back wonderful memories. Thanks!
