OK, so not all the pics are from Wassenaar. We just can't keep still!
Nonetheless, we hope you enjoy our photos from the area and around The Netherlands.

Best of '07: Another Favorite
Our favorite(s) from here in Wassenaar. The "maiden" normally wades in the water, but the fallen leaves give a different impression. We posted these two views of the scene.

I remember this photograph. I liked it the first time I saw it. I like it for a lot of reasons but the main reason is the forethought somebody had to commission a statue for this spot. Who would have thought about it. I never would and I have been known as an "artist" with a little "a" I guess and now I know why.
It means so much more than a statue mounted on a cement platform stuck up on a hill or parked off the street somewhere. This is something people actually do and I really like it.
A slice of time, frozen in bronze. And it is your slice of time we are sharing with you.
I don't know what else to say. It sure beats looking at door knobs and cobblestone streets.
Quelle puissance évocatrice, prendre un bain de feuilles en si bonne compagnie... very strong photo, I wish I could take a dead leaves bath with such a good friend.
A group of enthusiastic photographers that meet in The Hague. English-language meetings for the international community. Check out the website, especially the galleries page!
