Best of '07: Favorite Animal Pic
Our favorite animal pic ... an American Red Tail Hawk in the southern Netherlands town of Valkenburg.

This is a beautiful bird. I think it must be a young one. And, I often wish I could pick up our hawks but think I would get my hand ruined from their sharp talons. They truly are magnificent. We have this hawk here too and one called Red Shouldered and they all look similar.
