Garden Graves

We've previously posted pictures of the Dorpskerk cemetery in Wassenaar. Many of the gravesites are mini-gardens. Here's another shot of some of these "garden graves," along with a view looking from the graveyard to the church.

You'll soon be able to write a guide of the cemetaries of the region!! Very nice picture today, I find those tiny gardens a lovely way to maintain the graves. I also like the many miniatures people place next to the plants.
Thanks for adding me on your list of Dutch blogs. I'll do the same with yours!

It looks like the graves are very short or small. Is it just for cremated people? Or, are they buried in a different position? Most of our graves are at least 6 feet from end to end and about 2 feet wide or more.
