Reflections on Edam: Where?Wednesday

Today we take you back to the town of Edam, in the province of North Holland about 70km from Wassenaar.
We guessed that these nice little structures are a type of boathouse. Whatever their purpose, they reflected nicely into the calm waters of the canal.

It is a nice picture with the reflections. I saw a movie a long time ago and they did put boats in houses like these.

I think you are right about the boathouse but I'm not sure. Nice reflections.

A few weeks ago my family went to Eden: a beautiful town. The house is for sitting and drinking afternoon tea or relaxing, there is no “door” so these types of houses can not be used for boats. I took exact the same picture. Very nice.
