Best of '07: Best "Dutch" Moment

Continuing on the "Best of '07" theme, our favorite "dutch" moment of the year was snapping Princess Maxima (and Queen Beatrix barely visible in the background) as they passed in the Golden Carriage on Prinsjesdag, the annual opening of Parliament. You can see the original posts here.

Hi R,
That was indeed a fantastic photograph of our happy Argentinian/Dutch prinsess, she is very important for us Dutch people, because she is a good example of her integration as an Argentinian in her/our countrie. Our future Queen she is....So wonderfull she is, and I love her honest talk and her always happy smile..what a wonderfull person.

"Happy New Year" is good with a happy smile, My wish is "Happy and CREATIVE New Year" to you too!!!

I hope to see you back on my Dutch Blog in 2008!I love yours for sure! Thnaks for showing your photo's from my birth-city, The Hague and surrounding, that means a lot to me THANKS.

I distinctly recall seeing this the first time around. She is a remarkably beautiful woman, and the coach is very ornate. How could one forget this photo?!

It's better to have true Princess and King or Queen than poor ridiculous imitations as we are embarassed with nowadays in France. If you catch what I try to mean.
