OK, so not all the pics are from Wassenaar. We just can't keep still!
Nonetheless, we hope you enjoy our photos from the area and around The Netherlands.

Life on the Water
Houseboats in Amsterdam ... you see them in all shapes, sizes, and styles. An interesting way to live, to say the least.

It is interesting. The picture is very nice too. I like the idea of sod on the roof. That is great. Does the local governments get to charge them any kind of annual taxes for their living in the houseboats?
A group of enthusiastic photographers that meet in The Hague. English-language meetings for the international community. Check out the website, especially the galleries page!

Looks like the Prinsengracht! Very nice.
You will, of course, have to tell what the grass on the top of the boat on the left is all about.

What a beautiful photo. I understand that houseboats are not cheap, so what makes people prefer them to an apartment/house?
I didn't see houseboats with eco roofs when I visited a couple of years ago. Interesting!
That's a great picture - I love the colours, and there's so much of interest!
I loved you entire "Thinking of..."series! Learned so much about Wassenaar...
Your photos are spectacular!
haha A garden or grass-mat on that boathouse-roof, thats so typical for Amsterdam, strange things you always see there:)
