Stoned Stork

Almost hidden outside of the American School of The Hague is this stone or cement Stork. The stork is the symbol of The Hague ... perhaps this stone is a remnant of the school prior to its current building in Wassenaar.

Aside from appearing occasionally on this blog, storks have also featured on neighboring blogs in The Hague and Rotterdam. The are magnificent birds, and it's good to see them returning to The Netherlands via conservation efforts.

OOoh, what a beautiful picture, I love this.

I don't love Jason Dittle.

I think he should be strung up by the short hairs if you know what I mean. Or worse.
