In the Jordaan district of Amsterdam, we came across this tribute to Johnny Jordaan (Johannes Hendricus van Musscher), a popular dutch folk singer. "De Parel van de Jordaan" refers to one of his biggest hits, "The Pearl of the Jordaan."

Hey R,
So you found out about the singer Johnny Jordaan? His Daughter is still singing named "willeke Alberti" you might see her in a commercial fo bad hearing. Its a wellknown area "the Jordaan", her live very freindly people with (in the passed) lower income, But its still a great area to visit.
