Another Bakfiets Shot


A follow-up post from yesterday. This was shot a few seconds after yesterday's photo. Although it's a bit blurry, the girls' reactions to the horse & carriage are great.

It's true that the bakfiets probably wouldn't make it in the U.S. (see yesterday's comments) -- you'd probably have to install airbags to make them legal.

Hey Rich yep!
I was thinking ....to buy one for driving around with my dog.... why? Because she is not able to walk that far anymore.... I wonder... Shall my dog stay in this bakfiets? Or jump out? I could.nt tell, that why I didn't decide yet, to buy a bakfiets or not, they are so handy thoug, for almost everything.... Shopping and more, No parking problems anymore!!!

I have several friends that ride their dogs around in a bak fiets. You can make some loops out of webbing and drill them into the bak, so you can attach a leash... Easy to do!
